ARSD § 64:30:02:04 — Application for VIN assignment

64:30:02:04. Application
for VIN assignment. Any
person
attempting to obtain an assigned or replacement vehicle identification number,
except a
person
primarily doing business as a manufacturer of new vehicles, shall apply to the county treasurer . Upon completion
of the application form, the department shall initiate the registration process
and schedule
an appointment
for
the
inspection and identification of the vehicle.
