ARSD § 64:28:04:01 — Application requirements when vehicle is purchased from an authorized South Dakota licensed dealer

64:28:04:01. Application requirements when vehicle is purchased from an authorized South
Dakota licensed dealer. The manufacturer's statement of origin which is
issued to or transferred to an authorized licensed selling dealer shall be
reassigned to the purchaser by the dealer. The purchaser shall present the
application for certificate of title and the manufacturer's statement of origin
to the county treasurer in the county where the purchaser lives. The county
treasurer shall transmit the application to the department, Division of Motor
Vehicles, by means of a daily invoice.
