R.I. Gen. Laws § 44-7-13 — Judgment for collector â Execution and levy
If judgment is rendered in favor of the collector, he or she shall have an allowance
for his or her reasonable trouble in attending to the suit, to be taxed by the court
in the bill of costs, and execution shall issue against the real and personal estate
of the defendant, and the levy of the execution upon any real estate, upon which a
lien for the tax is created by chapter 9 of this title, shall be deemed to relate
back, and take effect from the time of commencement of the lien.
