32 V.S.A. § 3416 — Regional assessment districts; establishment [Effective January 1, 2029]

(a) There are hereby established 12 regional assessment districts, whose member municipalities
shall fully and jointly reappraise their grand lists every six years pursuant to subsection
3417(b) of this subchapter. Member municipalities shall contract jointly with one
or more third parties to conduct reappraisals.
(b) Each county shall constitute one regional assessment district, except that Franklin
and Grand Isle Counties shall constitute one district and Essex and Orleans Counties
shall constitute one district. (
