R.I. Gen. Laws § 44-5-81 — Pawtucket — Waiver of interest

Notwithstanding any other provisions in the general laws to the contrary, the city
of Pawtucket may, by ordinance duly enacted, authorize the finance director and/or
the tax collector to waive interest on motor vehicle or tangible taxes, based on criteria
established by the city council.
