Vending machines without identification device

Sec. 8. A township assessor, or the county assessor if there is no township assessor for the township, shall inform the county auditor of any vending machine which does not, as required under IC 6-1.1-3-8, have an identification device on its face. The county auditor shall then

add a one dollar ($1) penalty to the next property tax installment of the person on whose premises the machine is located.
