Patrol judges

# (a)
Appointed by the association. Each association shall appoint at least three
(3) patrol judges, licensed by the commission, who shall be on duty during the running of each and every race.
# (b)
Duties. The patrol judges shall have their station at a place designated by the stewards where they may have a commanding view of the race. The patrol judges shall report their observations to the stewards and the association shall provide communications between each station of the patrol judges and stewards for this purpose.
