Case management

(a) In any case, the presiding commissioner may direct the parties to appear for a conference.

(b) This conference may consider:

(1) The simplification of issues;

(2) The status of efforts to stipulate pursuant to 26 CAR § 411-403;

(3) The necessity or desirability of amendments to the petition, answer, or reply;

(4) The possibility of settlement;

(5) The scheduling of the hearing and other case events or deadlines; and

(6) Such other matters as may aid in the disposition of the action.
(c)(1) After the conference, the presiding commissioner may make an order that:

(A) Recites the action taken at the conference, any amendments allowed to the pleadings, and the agreements made by the parties as to any of the matters considered; and

(B) Limits the issues for hearing to those not disposed of by stipulation or other agreement of the parties.

(2) Such order, when entered, controls the subsequent course of the case, unless subsequently modified.
