Scope

# (a)
This part shall govern the Secretary of the Department of Public Safety or their designee in administering the Law Enforcement Family Relief Trust Fund to provide financial assistance to the families of Arkansas-certified law enforcement officers.
# (b)
This part shall govern the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration or their designee in administering the Law Enforcement Family Relief Check-off Program in providing a means by which taxpayers may:
# (1)
Designate the withholding of all or a portion of their income tax refund; or
# (2)
Make an additional contribution if not entitled to a tax refund.
