Ala. Code § 40-12-275 — Review of Personalized License Plates Issued Under This Chapter and Chapter 6 of Title 32; Appeals

(a) The Department of Revenue shall review all personalized license plates issued pursuant to Chapter 6 of Title 32 and Chapter 12 of this title and shall determine whether a requested license plate is issued or renewed in accordance with rules adopted pursuant to Chapter 22 of Title 41.
(b) An appeal concerning the denial of the issuance or renewal of a license plate shall be made with the circuit court of the county where the motor vehicle is registered.
