Dispensing raffle and lottery tickets by vending machine

# (a)

To use a vending machine to sell raffle or lottery tickets, the permittee or operator must receive prior approval from the department.

# (b)

Before the department will approve the use of a vending machine under this section,

# (1)

the permittee or operator must certify, in writing, that the operation of the vending machine is compliant with the applicable requirements of AS 05.15 and this chapter;

# (2)

the permittee or operator must post a copy of the permit and a copy of the operator's license, if applicable, in a manner that is clearly visible to the gaming public;

# (3)

the name and permit number of the qualified organization that benefits from the proceeds of the vending machine must appear conspicuously on the vending machine or on a video screen display on the vending machine; and

# (4)

the name, telephone number, and address of the person responsible for servicing the vending machine must appear conspicuously on the vending machine or on a video screen display on the vending machine.

# (c)

In this section, "vending machine" means a machine, object, or instrument designed to sell and dispense a raffle or lottery ticket.
