15 AAC 160.010

# (a)

A municipality or qualified organization that seeks to conduct an activity permitted under
AS 05.15 shall apply to the department for a permit.

# (b)

If a suborganization of a parent qualified organization seeks to conduct an activity permitted under AS 05.15, the suborganization shall apply to the department for its own permit.
The suborganization itself must meet the requirements of AS 05.15 and this chapter in order to receive a permit; the suborganization cannot rely solely on the issuance of a permit to the parent qualified organization.
