Tex. Tax Code § 202.005 — EMPLOYMENT OF AUDITORS

The comptroller may employ auditors and supervisors to verify reports and investigate the affairs of producers and purchasers to determine whether the tax imposed by this chapter is being properly reported and paid. Acts 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1737, ch. 389, Sec. 1, eff. Jan. 1, 1982.
