61 Pa. Code § 813.2 — Appropriation of monies

The monies in the State Lottery Fund shall be appropriated only as follows: (1) For the payment of prizes to the holders of winning lottery tickets or shares. (2) For the expenses of the division in its operation of the lottery. (3) For property tax relief for the elderly as provided under section 12 of the act (72 P. S. § 3761.12). (4) For transfer to the general fund through June 30, 1972, and for the repayment to the general fund of the amount appropriated to the fund pursuant to section 16 of the act (72 P. S. § 3761-1 note). All transfer of monies to the general fund through June 30, 1972, shall be treated on a fiscal year basis so that all ticket sale revenues and the payment of prizes and operating expenses from the State Lottery Fund shall be made during the 1971-72 fiscal year to the general fund on a monthly transfer basis. A final transfer of the entire balance of the State Lottery Fund to the general fund shall be made as of the close of business on June 30, 1972.
