Iowa Code § 425.34 — Rent increase hearings and appeals

1. If the department of health and human services orders a landlord to reduce rent to a claimant, then upon the request of the landlord the department of health and human services shall hold a prompt hearing of the matter , to be conducted in accordance with the rules of the department. The department of health and human services shall give notice of the decision by mail to the claimant and to the landlord. 2. The claimant and the landlord shall have the rights of appeal and review as provided in section 425.31 .
