C.R.S. § 39-28.8-502 — Marijuana tax cash fund - budget requests
(1) Beginning with the budget request required to be submitted to the joint budget committee by November 1, 2014, and for the budget request required to be submitted each November thereafter, the governor shall include the governor's requested expenditures of moneys in the fund and the purposes of such expenditures for the fiscal year following the fiscal year in which the moneys were received by the state. (2) Beginning with the budget request required to be submitted to the joint budget committee by November 1, 2014, and for each budget request required to be submitted each November thereafter, the executive director of the department of revenue shall include in its budget request for the direct and indirect costs associated with implementing this article 28.8 and article 10 of title 44 the amount that the department requests from the money in the marijuana cash fund created in section 44-10-801, and the amount that the department requests from the marijuana tax cash fund.
